Zakharov

Iliya Zakharov (he/him) is a 23-year-old multi-instrumentalist, educator and composer based in West Melbourne. Currently studying Jazz and Improvisation at the Victorian College of the Arts, he is a versatile, well-equipped artist with over a decade of experience in the music industry.

He has played some of Melbourne's most iconic venues including the Sidney Myer Music Bowl and the Palais Theatre, several Australian tours, and featured on dozens of sessions across drums, keys, percussion and vocals.

Iliya has featured in projects spanning jazz, funk, afrobeat, psychedelic rock, hip-hop and more - currently playing in outfits like West End Gap, Relax With Max, Pretty Moi and more.

With an array of experience, Iliya is eager to share his passion through gigs, sessions, lessons and more.
